Coaching Consultant
Maria Clancy
Maria is a serial entrepreneur, licensed career coach and design thinker – Irish by heritage, London by professional training and Asia-located by choice.
Starting life in Ireland, her path through education led her to completing an MSc in International Development at University of London & Southbank University. Combining work and travel gave foundation to chapters all over the world – USA, France, Greece, Italy but ultimately, London was where her professional life found its home. Inspired to work at the nexus of business and social change, Maria developed and led projects for an international social enterprise and then went on to launch my own business, Passion Organic. During that time, she also served as a Board Member for Social Venture Network Europe, a front runner CSR initiative, including members such at Ben &8 Jerrys, The Body Shop, Rabobank and Aveda, amongst many others. The practical experience of running her own business alongside the insights gained from working with international business leaders was such a formative experience which laid the foundation for her next chapter.
Taking time out for a parenting pause led Maria to her own career and life redesign which ultimately gave birth to Disegno.life. Her work now is a culmination of ten years of professional training, working and developing her practice as a career coach and design thinker. Sharing and hearing the clients’ stories and bearing witness to their tenacity, energy and drive as they reshape and redesign their career and life plans is an utter privilege.
Disegno.life focuses on partnering in projects which have been set up to empower women from all backgrounds, at every stage of their career and life trajectory.
From that place of working together, enabling and supporting, Disegno.life is delighted to be developing joint initiatives with Womentors.
And home…Maria now live in Bangkok with her partner Paul, and her two football crazy boys, Luca and Marco.
